Fulbright Partner Appointed to Virginia State Board of Education

Governor Bob McDonnell has appointed Fulbright partner David Foster to the Virginia State Board of Education.
Created by the state Constitution, the Board sets standards and regulations for local public school systems throughout Virginia. Its responsibilities include curriculum standards, graduation requirements, teacher qualifications and state testing and accreditation standards. The Board's nine members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the General Assembly.
Foster, a former Chairman of the Arlington County School Board, focuses his practice on antitrust, trade regulation, litigation and government investigations matters.
